Test 4: Security Indicator Flashes
- Using scan tool, check for PCM DTCs. If no PCM DTCs exist, go to next step. If PCM DTCs exist, see TESTS W/CODES article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
- Check for BCM DTCs. If no BCM DTCs exist, go to next step. If any BCM DTCs exist, see BODY CONTROL MODULE article.
- Perform BCM THEFT DETERRENT RELEARN under PROGRAMMING. Recheck system. If problem exists, go to next step. If no problem exists, system is okay.
- Replace BCM. Perform NEW BCM SETUP under PROGRAMMING. Recheck system.
