Normal System Response Test: Notes

NOTE: If engine has been running recently, system may delay operation of mode selection (air distribution) for about 20 seconds to purge moist air from system. During this normal delay, system directs outlet air to floor ducts to prevent windshield fogging. System may also delay operation of mode selection if engine has not reached operating temperature. This normal delay prevents windshield frosting during cold weather.
