  1. When A/C-heater control panel FRONT button is pressed, FRONT button LED should come on. Selected temperature, WINDSHIELD and respective airflow arrow should be shown on display window. Air should flow from defroster outlets. After 10 seconds, display should switch from selected temperature to outside temperature.
  2. When AIR FLOW rocker switch is pressed, A/C-heater control panel should display system status for 10 seconds and then switch to outside temperature display.
  3. With system in floor and windshield airflow modes, pressing bottom portion of AIR FLOW rocker switch should display selected temperature, FLOOR, WINDSHIELD and respective airflow indicator arrows. Air should flow from windshield defroster and heater outlets. After 10 seconds, selected temperature display should switch to outside temperature display.
  4. With system in panel airflow mode, pressing top portion of AIR FLOW rocker switch should display selected temperature, MID and respective airflow indicator arrows. Air should flow from instrument panel outlets. After 10 seconds, selected temperature display should switch to outside temperature display.
  5. Selecting floor and panel airflow modes should display selected temperature, MID, FLOOR and respective airflow indicator arrows. Air should flow from instrument panel and heater outlets. After 10 seconds, selected temperature display should switch to outside temperature display.
  6. Selecting floor airflow mode should display selected temperature, FLOOR and respective airflow indicator arrow. Air should flow from heater outlets. After 10 seconds, selected temperature display should switch to outside temperature.
  7. Pressing up or down arrow on FAN button should display fan icon and fan segment bars. Number of fan segment bars should increase and decrease with respect to fan speed.
  8. Press TEMP button to display selected temperature. Pressing up or down arrow on TEMP button should increase or decrease temperature selection by one degree, respectively. Once temperature setting reaches 85°F (29°C), the next highest available temperature setting is 90°F (32°C). Once setting reaches 65°F (18°C), the next lower available temperature setting is 60°F (16°C).
  9. Pressing AUTO button should illuminate Light Emitting Diode (LED) on AUTO button. Press down arrow on TEMP button to gradually decrease temperature setting to 65°F (18°C). Outlet air temperature should slowly change, and airflow should change from heater outlets to instrument panel outlets. Air should flow from defroster and heater outlets for a brief moment. Fan speed should change from high to low and then back to high again. After 10 seconds, selected temperature display should switch to outside temperature display.
  10. When A/C-heater control panel RECIRC button is pressed, LED on RECIRC button should come on. Blower motor air noise should change as system goes from ambient air mode to recirculated air mode.
  11. When VENT button is pressed, LED on VENT button LED should come on, and LED on RECIRC button should go out. Recirculated air door should close. A/C compressor clutch should de-energize. VENT and RECIRC modes cannot operate at the same time.
  12. When REAR button is pressed, LED on REAR button should come on. Defogger grid should warm up. LED on REAR button should go out when DEFOGGER times out or REAR button is pressed again.
  13. With system in panel airflow mode, pressing WARM or COOL button on passenger-side control panel should display WARMER or COOLER, and center Orange LED of segment bars. Center Orange LED bar indicates no relative difference between passenger-side and driver-side temperature settings.
  14. Pressing WARM or COOL button on passenger-side control panel again should slowly increase or decrease discharge air temperature on passenger side accordingly. Pressing COOL button should move LED segment bars toward COOLER (Green bars) position. Pressing WARM button should move LED segment bars toward WARMER (Red bars) position.
