Power Seat System: Description

NOTE: Memory seat function (driver's side) is not covered in this article. For power seats with memory seat function, see appropriate wiring diagram in appropriate MEMORY SYSTEMS article.

Power seats operate using switches located on seat side. Seat adjusters are powered by a 12-volt, reversible motor with an internal circuit breaker. A 25-amp, plug-in circuit breaker is located in fuse panel and protects power seat wiring. Power seat system ground points are located behind left and right kick panels. On some models, seats are available with power recliner, power lumbar, heating and memory options.
