Installation Procedure

Important:  Do not bend the headliner when installing.

1. Align the headliner to the vehicle through the right front door.
2. Align the sunshade holes in the headliner with the respective hole in the body structure in order to install the headliner.
3. Install the passenger side sunshade retainer to correctly align the front of the headliner to the roof. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement .

4. Connect the electric connector to the rearview mirror.
5. Install the 2 push-in retainers which secure the rear headliner to the roof.
6. Push up on the headliner around the sunroof opening to secure the headliner to the hook and loop retainers.
7. Install the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead .
8. Install the finishing lace around the sunroof opening, if equipped.
9. Install the front door weatherstrip seal to hold the headliner in place.
10. Install the rear door weatherstrip seal to hold the headliner in place.
11. Install the upper center pillar trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar .
12. Connect the electric connector, which is located under the rear shelf, to the headliner wiring harness.
13. Install the rear shelf. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf .
14. Install the upper quarter trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper .
15. Install the windshield pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar .
16. Install the assist handle. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement - Front  and to Assist Handle Replacement - Rear .
17. Install the remaining sunshade retainer. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement .
18. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
