Theft Deterrent Relearn

NOTE: This procedure must be performed after ignition switch replacement.

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Turn ignition switch from OFF position to START position, and then leave in ON position. SECURITY indicator light will illuminate and remain on for at least 10 minutes. After SECURITY indicator light turns off, turn ignition switch to OFF position for 5 seconds. Repeat this procedure 2 more times. After third time, turn ignition switch to OFF position. Turn ignition switch to START position. Engine should start and run. Recheck BCM for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC).
