Removal Procedure
CAUTION:

- Disable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM Zone 3 in General Motors Corp. - Air Bag Restraint Systems article.
- Use a screwdriver to carefully pry the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column jacket assembly.
