Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Install the rear axle support.
- Remove the shock absorber lower mounting bolts.
- Lower the rear axle.
- Remove the rear coil springs.
NOTE:
Do not lower the rear axle so that the upper control arms contact the frame. Damage to the upper control arms will result.
NOTE:
Use care when handling the coil springs in order to avoid chipping or scratching the coating. Damage to the coating will result in premature failure of the coil springs.
