Kickdown Cable
- Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Adjust idle speed, if necessary. Install cable end clip in slot which will allow for straightest routing of cable. Loosen locknut of tensioner.
- Adjust tensioner to obtain 0.004 - 0.020" (0.1-0.5 mm) play between end clip and end of tensioner. Retighten locknut while immobilizing tensioner.
