Severe & Normal Service Definitions

NOTE: Use the Severe Service schedule if the vehicle to be serviced is operated under ANY (one or more) of these conditions:

Service is recommended at mileage intervals based on vehicle operation. Scheduled services are performed every 7500 miles. Additional maintenance will be required for operation under the following conditions (severe service):

Dusty Conditions Replace or clean air filter element more frequently (depending on type of filter).
Extensive Stop-And-Go Driving Change oil at half the recommended intervals. Replace oil filter cartridge at the regular intervals.
Heavy Salt Usage And Corrosive Atmosphere Regions In these geographic areas, it is recommended to wash the body and undercarriage more frequently. It is also recommended that the brake caliper slides be lubricated every 6000 miles.
High Mileage Vehicles It is recommended that anti-freeze solution be changed every 2 years, 45,000 miles maximum.

Check fluid levels every 1000-1500 miles.
