Inhibitor Switch (Automatic Transmission Only)
Disconnect inhibitor switch connector. Check for continuity between terminals No. 8 and 9 while operating select lever. See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist with lever in Park or Neutral. No continuity should be present when in other gears. If result is otherwise, adjust inhibitor switch.
