FWD Models
- Disconnect 6-wire connector at stoplight switch pigtail. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between Dark Blue/Red and Yellow/Red wires and between White/Pink and White wires. With brake pedal released, there should be continuity between wires. There should be no continuity between Pink and White wires.
- Depress brake pedal. There should be continuity between Pink and White wires. There should be no continuity between Dark Blue/Red and Yellow/Red wires or between White/Pink and White wires.
- If ohmmeter readings are not as specified, stoplight switch is defective or out of adjustment. See STOPLIGHT SWITCH in ADJUSTMENTS.
