DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS

| 41 | CHARGING SYSTEM CKT | Output driver stage does not respond correctly to voltage regulator control signal. |
| 42 | ASD RELAY CIRCUIT or Z1 VOLTAGE SENSE | Open or shorted condition detected in ASD relay circuit. |
| 43 | IGNITION CONTROL CIRCUIT | Output driver stage for ignition coil does not respond properly to dwell control signal. |
| 44 | FJ2 VOLTAGE SENSE | No FJ2 voltage present at logic board during SMEC operation. |
| 46 | BATTERY VOLTAGE HIGH | Battery voltage sense input more than target charging voltage during engine operation. |
| 47 | BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW | Battery voltage sense input less than target charging voltage during engine operation. |
| 51 | AIR FUEL AT LIMIT | Oxygen sensor input indicates lean air/fuel ratio during engine operation. |
| 52 | AIR FUEL AT LIMIT | Oxygen sensor input indicates rich air/fuel ratio during engine operation. |
| 53 | INTERNAL SELF-TEST | SMEC detects internal failure. |
| 54 | SYNC PICK-UP SIGNAL | No high data rate detected during engine rotation. |
