Crankshaft Position Sensor

On all 2.0L engines, crankshaft position sensor is located on rear side of cylinder head, coupled to intake camshaft. On 1.8L engines, crankshaft position sensor is located inside distributor. For testing procedure, see appropriate TESTS W/CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
