Valve Relay
- Remove and test the hydraulic unit valve relay. Refer to HYDRAULIC UNIT RELAYS
under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. If relay is okay, go to next step. Replace relay if it is faulty.
- Install relay. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Disconnect hydraulic unit 10-pin connector. Measure voltage between hydraulic unit 10-pin connector terminal No. 8 (Green wire) and ground. See Fig 1
. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair broken wire between ANTI-LOCK warning light and hydraulic unit.
- Check for continuity between hydraulic unit 10-pin connector terminal No. 9 (Black wire) and ground. If continuity does not exist, repair or replace Black wire between hydraulic unit and ground. If continuity exists, replace hydraulic unit.
