Ventilation Valve Disassembly

This valve is not a crimped valve and can be disassembled. Disassemble valve, clean parts in solvent and blow dry. Inspect parts of valve for damage or excessive wear and replace if necessary. Install spring on valve, tapered end first, into the spring until end of spring is seated in groove just under head of valve. Unless spring and valve are properly assembled, valve will not contact seat squarely and will not close properly. Place valve in valve body, tapered end first, install male threaded end of body and tighten securely.
