Compression Pressure: Distributor
The following specifications are not applicable to transistor ignition distributors (parts not used).
- CAM ANGLE SETTING CAUTION:
On distributors with only one shaft bushing, a special adapter must be used when mounting distributor in testing machine so that lower end of shaft is properly positioned. Cam Angle must be rechecked and adjusted after distributor is mounted on engine to insure accurate setting.
Point Gap .020" Cam Angle 31-34° Breaker Arm Spring Tension 19-23 ozs. Condenser Capacity .18-.23 mfd.
