A computer is used to control fuel, ignition, emission systems, and torque converter clutch lock-up. Input sensors supply the computer with signals that indicate operating conditions of the vehicle and various systems. Output signals control systems which control vehicle operation. Operational parameters are preprogrammed in computer memory.
