Code A087 - Abs Red Brake Telltale Circuit Open: Notes

This test verifies EBCM has continuity to Red BRAKE telltale light. Because other systems also use this circuit, a short to ground cannot be detected.

1. This step determines if fault is still present.
2. This step indicates if EBCM and circuit has ability to complete ground to Red BRAKE telltale light.
3. This step tests for circuit completion to instrument cluster.
4. This step determines if open circuit is due to EBCM failure or BRAKE telltale.
