Alternator & Regulator: Description

Alternators are equipped with internal regulators, delta stator, rectifier bridge, and rotor with slip rings and brushes. The CS-121 alternator requires 3 connections, battery positive, an "L" terminal to the charge indicator bulb, and the "I" terminal, which is used as a back-up circuit if the "L" circuit fails. The "P" and "S" terminals are not used.
