DTC C0565: Incorrect VIN Information
- Perform diagnostic system check. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
- If any DTCs besides C0565 are present, repair those DTC(s) before repairing cause of DTC C0565. If no other DTCs are present, go to next step.
- Replace EBCM. See ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL MODULE & BRAKE PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Operate vehicle to verify repair. If DTC resets, go to step 2. If DTC does not reset, system is okay.
