Removal Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Aztek and 2002 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Important: These procedures are applicable to both of the antenna cables in this vehicle.
- Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Remove the sunshade. Refer to SUNSHADE REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the sunshade anchor. Refer to SUNSHADE ANCHOR REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the trim panel from the right cowl side. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - COWL SIDE .
- Remove the garnish molding from the windshield. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - WINDSHIELD PILL .
- For the Rendezvous, remove the assist handle from the headliner. Refer to ASSIST HANDLE REPLACEMENT (AZTEK) or ASSIST HANDLE REPLACEMENT (RENDEZVOUS) .
- Remove the bolt that secures the antenna cable extension to the roof. This bolt is located under the right front corner of the headliner.
- Remove the antenna cable from the instrument panel carrier.
- Remove the following components from the vehicle:
- The antenna cable
- The antenna cable extension
