Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Aztek and 2002 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Connect the coaxial cable connector to the radio.
- Connect the electrical/audio connectors to the radio.
- Install the radio to the IP.
Important: If the radio locator tab is difficult to align to the IP locator opening, pull the radio toward you and reposition the antenna cable.
- Align the radio control locator tab to the IP locator hole while carefully pressing the radio into the IP until fully seated.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the radio screws.
Tighten
Tighten the radio screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
- Install the IP accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (AZTEK) .
- Perform the radio set-up procedure. Refer to Radio Setup .
