Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the front of the hood (1).
- Remove the bolts (7) holding the hood link assembly to the hood hinge.
- Remove the bolts (5) holding the hood link assembly to the fender.
- Remove the hood link assembly from the vehicle.
CAUTION:
When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
