Installation Procedure

- Bench bleed the master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Bench Bleeding .
- Install the master cylinder to the brake booster.
- Install the master cylinder mounting nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the master cylinder mounting nuts to 29 N.m (21 lb ft).
- Remove the plugs from the brake pipes
- Connect the brake pipes to the master cylinder.
Tighten: Tighten the brake pipe fittings at the master cylinder to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Connect the electrical connector (1) to the brake fluid level sensor.
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
