Service Traction System Indicator

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) receives a class 2 message from Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) requesting illumination and illuminates SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM indicator in message center when EBCM detects a malfunction in traction control system. SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM indicator illuminates for 60 seconds when condition is present. IPC also sends a class 2 message to radio in order to activate an audible warning of 4 chimes. When ignition is off, SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM indicator message will be displayed again for 3 seconds.
