Compressor Hose: Installation

  1. Remove the cap or plugs from the connections. Install the hose to the compressor. Install the compressor hose assembly retaining bolt to the compressor. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the compressor hose assembly to the condenser. Tighten the compressor hose nut at the condenser to specification.
  3. Install the auxiliary hose connection at the compressor hose assembly. Tighten the auxiliary hose connection to the compressor to specification.
  4. Install the compressor hose assembly to the accumulator. Tighten the A/C line to the accumulator to specification. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system. Install the air cleaner to the vehicle. Install the coolant recovery or the surge tank
