Throttle Position Sensor: Installation

- Install the TP sensor "O" ring on the TP sensor. Install the TP sensor on the throttle body assembly. Install the 2 TP sensor bolts, using Loctite(R) 262 Thread-Locking Compound (1052624), or equivalent on the bolts.
- Tighten the TP sensor attaching bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the TP sensor electrical connector. Connect the EVAP purge line. Connect the fuel lines. Install the air cleaner intake duct.
- Perform the following procedure in order to inspect for leaks. Turn the ignition on for 2 seconds. Turn the ignition off for 10 seconds. Turn the ignition on. Inspect for fuel leaks.
