Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the fender to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the bolts to the fender at the front compartment side rail. Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Install the bolts to the fender at the rocker panel. See Figure. Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
  4. Install the bolts to the fender at the door hinge pillar. Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the bolts to the fender at the lower engine compartment side rail. See Figure. Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
  6. Install the washer solvent container (right fender). Refer to WASHER FLUID LEVEL SWITCH & WASHER FLUID CONTAINER .
  7. Install the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  8. Install the hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
  9. Install the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement .
  10. Install the rocker finish panel. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - ROCKER PANEL .
  11. Install the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB AND/OR CORNERING, SIDEMARKER, PARK, TURN SIGNAL BULB REPLACEMENT .
  12. Install the body side molding, if required. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE .
