DTC B2734: Coded Key Controlled Memory Failure: Description
Non-volatile memory check sum write error detection is handled inside control module. No external circuits are involved.
Microprocessor sets DTC B2734 if it can not write to non volatile memory. DTC is also set if microprocessor can not run an accurate check sum on non volatile memory.
When DTC B2734 sets, theft deterrent control module will store a code B2734 and SECURITY indicator will be illuminated on steady.
DTC B2734 clears when, microprocessor runs either a successful check sum test or a successful write to non-volatile memory.
