DTC B1328: Device Power Circuit High
- If engine electrical diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If engine electrical diagnostic system check was not performed, go to ENGINE ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
- Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Start engine. Using scan tool, observe ELECTRONICS BATTERY FD parameter from BCM data list. If scan tool indicates battery voltage is 18.0 volts or more, go to next step. If scan tool indicates battery voltage is less than 18.0 volts, go to step 4.
- Using DVOM measure voltage across battery terminals. If battery voltage is less than 18.0 volts, go to next step. If battery voltage is 18.0 volts or more, go to TEST A: CHARGING SYSTEM TEST under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Replace Body Control Module (BCM). After replacement, reprogram BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULES - AZTEK article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. After repair are made, go to next step.
- Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Start engine. If DTC B1328 does not reset, system is okay. If DTC B1328 resets, go to step 2.
