Enable Criteria

Passive Test:

• Engine coolant temperature is 39-221°F (4-105°C).
• Intake air temperature is 39-158°F (4-70°C).
• Battery voltage is greater than 10 volts.
• Active Test, if required, begins after engine goes into closed-loop fuel control.

Active Test:

• Engine coolant temperature is 176-221°F (80-105°C).
• Intake air temperature is greater than 50°F (10°C).
• Engine operating in closed-loop fuel control.
• Battery voltage is greater than 10 volts.
