Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

Reference mark the propeller shaft at the transfer case flange.

Remove the propeller shaft-to-transfer case flange bolts.

Reference mark the propeller shaft at the torque tube flange.

Remove the propeller shaft-to-torque tube flange bolts.
Push the propeller shaft toward the rear of the vehicle.
Remove the propeller shaft.
