PASSLOCK(tm) LEARN PROCEDURES

Perform the Passlock(tm) learn procedure when the Passlock(tm) sensor, Body Control Module (BCM) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) have been replaced. Program replaced module before programming Passlock(tm).

Passlock(tm) learn programing will take 30 minutes to perform. Before beginning procedure ensure that battery is fully charged.

1. Turn ignition switch to START position. Vehicle should start, then stall.
2. Leave ignition switch in RUN position while observing SECURITY indicator.
3. When security indicator turns off (can take up to 10 minutes), turn ignition switch to OFF position and wait 5 seconds.
4. Repeat steps  1 - 3 2 times (3 times total).
5. BCM and PCM will learn new code on next start attempt.
6. Start engine. Vehicle has now learned Passlock(tm) sensor data code and/or password. Using scan tool clear any DTCs. History DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles.
