Programming Remote Keyless Entry Transmitters With Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under left side of instrument panel. Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
- Using scan tool, select REMOTE FUNCTION ACTUATION, special functions, PROGRAM KEY FOBS.
- Select number of key fobs to be programmed.
- Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on first transmitter for approximately 15 seconds. Power door locks should cycle to confirm programming of first fob is complete.
- If programming more than one transmitter, repeat previous step to program up to 4 transmitters.
- Remove scan tool. Exit vehicle. Using remote transmitter, attempt to lock/unlock doors to verify programming. Operate all transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.
