Remote Keyless Diagnostic System Check
- Attempt to enter Body Control Module (BCM) diagnostic mode. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . If BCM enters diagnostic mode, go to next step. If BCM does not enter diagnostic mode, perform BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
- If BCM displays any DTCs, go to next step. If BCM does not display any DTCs, diagnose by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX table under SYSTEM TESTS.
- If BCM displays DTC 8, perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS table. If BCM displays other DTCs, perform appropriate test. See BODY CONTROL MODULES - GRAND PRIX article for complete DTC listing.
