Installation Procedure

- Push the theft deterrent module (2), onto the lock cylinder housing (1).
- Install the theft deterrent wiring harness to the steering column harness.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Replace the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT - ON VEHICLE .
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
- Program the new theft control module. Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components .
