Fuel Pressure Regulator: Removal

- Fuel pressure regulator is mounted to end of fuel rail. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.
- Place a shop towel under the fuel pressure regulator to catch any fuel spillage.
- Remove the retaining bolts from the fuel pressure regulator.
- Remove the fuel pressure regulator.
- Remove any seal or seal material left on the fuel rail.
