Removal Procedure

Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left .
Remove the bolts from the bottom of the steering column filler.

Pull the steering column filler rearward and upward, releasing the retaining clips from the I/P.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the driver information center (DIC), if equipped.
Remove the steering column filler.
