Strut Assembly Replacement: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Scribe the strut to the knuckle. Refer to STRUT AND KNUCKLE SCRIBING in FRONT SUSPENSION .
- Remove the strut mount to body nut in the trunk area. Remove the strut bolts from inside the fender well. Remove the strut knuckle bolts and nuts from the strut. Remove the strut from the vehicle.
