CLOCKSPRING Inspection

Remove clockspring. See CLOCKSPRING under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using ohmmeter, measure continuity between clockspring terminals. See Fig 1 . If clockspring terminal continuity is not as specified in inspection diagram, replace clockspring.
