Generator Installation

  1. Place the generator in position.
  2. Install the generator side bolt or bolts finger tight.

  3. Install the generator front bolts finger tight.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Tighten the generator bolts in the following sequence:

    Tighten 

    • Tighten the generator front upper bolt to 50 N.m (37 ft lbs).
    • Tighten the generator side front bolt to 50 N.m (37 ft lbs).
    • Tighten the generator side rear bolt to 50 N.m (37 ft lbs).
    • Tighten the generator front lower bolt to 50 N.m (37 ft lbs).
