Removal Procedure

Open the rear compartment lid.
Remove the appropriate rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT--REAR .
Remove the tail lamp housing assembly. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .
Remove the tail lamp socket from the tail lamp housing assembly (3) by turning counter clockwise 1/4 turn.
Remove the tail lamp bulb from the socket.
