Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Yukon XL, 2003 GMC Yukon, 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the power outlets to the end panel, if equipped. Refer to ACCESSORY POWER RECEPTACLE REPLACEMENT - 12 VOLT  .
  2. Install the rear seat audio control, if equipped.
  3. Install the rear seat heater switch, if equipped. Refer to HEATED SEAT SWITCH REPLACEMENT - REAR in Seats.
  4. Connect all electrical connectors.
  5. Install the end panel to the console.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

  6. Install the 2 top retaining screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  7. Install the 2 retaining screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  8. Install the rear cupholder to the end panel. Refer to CUPHOLDER REPLACEMENT (NON-LUXURY)  or CUPHOLDER REPLACEMENT (LUXURY)  or CUPHOLDER REPLACEMENT (REAR)  .
  9. Install the storage bin. Refer to CONSOLE STORAGE BIN REPLACEMENT (EXPECT PRO)  .
