Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the front seat back onto the front seat cushion.
  2. Install the wiring harnesses to the heated seat and to the side air bag through the front seat cushion and frame area.

  3. Install the back to the seat cushion frame.
  4. Install the left front bolts to the seat back recliner hinge.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

  5. Install the right front bolts to the seat back recliner hinge.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

  6. Install the recliner cable ends to the seat back recliner hinge.
  7. Install the outer trim panel to the front seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION OUTER TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT  .
  8. Install the inner trim panel to the front seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION INNER TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - FRONT  .
  9. Inspect the seat back for proper operation.
  10. Install the front bucket seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET  .
