Oil Pump: Removal

NOTE: Do not remove the 3 bolts which hold the pump together.

Remove the case side cover. See CASE SIDE COVER . Remove the oil pump bolts (205, 206, 207). See Fig 1 . Remove the oil pump from the valve body. See Fig 2 . Clean and inspect the oil pump. See appropriate OVERHAUL article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS.
