Removal & Installation: Notes
WARNING:
To avoid injury from accidental air bag deployment, read and carefully follow all AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
and DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM

WARNING:
Before servicing any electrical component, the ignition key must be in OFF or LOCK position and all electrical loads must be OFF, unless instructed otherwise in these procedures. If a tool or equipment could easily come in contact with a live exposed electrical terminal, also disconnect negative battery cable. Failure to follow these precautions may cause personal injury and/or damage to vehicle or its components.
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES
article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE:
For reassembly reference, label all harness connectors, vacuum hoses and fuel lines before removal. Also place mating marks onto engine hood and other major assemblies before removal.
