Disabling System

Turn steering wheel to place vehicle wheels in straight-ahead position. Remove key from ignition. Remove IGN fuse and CIG fuse from fuse block, located in lower left instrument panel, behind storage box cover.
Remove lower steering column cover. Release, unlock and disconnect SIR coil Yellow 2-pin connector. See Fig 1. Remove glove box. Release, unlock and disconnect passenger-side air bag Yellow 2-pin connector. See Fig 2.
Release, unlock and disconnect driver and passenger side impact air bag module connectors, located under driver and front passenger seats.
