Removal Procedure

Important:  Protect the applique with heavy material tape in order to avoid damaging the underlying paint finish or applique. Do not use a pointed or a sharp instrument for the removal of the applique.

1. Remove the rear door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR WINDOW BELT OUTER  .
2. Remove the center of the rivets using a center punch.

3. Drill out the rivets from the frame applique.

4. Remove the frame applique from the rear door.
