Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the antenna extension cable as noted before removal.
Important: Ensure that the cable is secured to the harness at least every 150 mm (6 in) to aid in protecting and routing the cable.
- Use electrical tape in order to secure the extension cable along the outside of the wiring harness.
- Connect the IP antenna extension cable to the radio. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Connect the IP antenna extension cable to the body harness antenna extension cable along the front door hinge pillar.
- Install the instrument panel (IP) compartment. Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - I/P .
- Install the right IP insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT .
- Install the right carpet.
